A 1,000 Km (620 mile) area of the Beni region of Bolivia and the Acre and Rondonia regions of Brazil were alterred significantly by civilizations that dug trenches and built up mounds in varieties of shapes, circles, diamonds, hexagons, interlocking rectangles.
